Well I have not been doing well at keeping track of my translation ups and downs here. I am much further into the piece now (I'm up to the scene with the inn-keeper woman and "Planthani" for those that know the play.

But I've got a wedding to prepare for, and work remains a steady deluge of time consumption, it's a hard life I tells ya!.

So, progress is being made. I am setting myself the perhaps optimistic aim of getting this show up and running for the next Melbourne Fringe. I think it will help me to pull my finger out.

So.... watch this space. Who knows when/what I'll put in it next!

In the tradition fo re-visiting our early productions, and doing them again with our own translations and with higher production values, I am currently working on a new treanslation of The Frogs. It was due to happen later on this year, but that deadline is approaching rapidly, and I am only 150 lines in. So watch this space. I aim to produce a bit of a 'translators blog' in this section of the website, which may bore some of you to tears - but might arouse the interest of a couple of people out there in the world....
